Review: Firebrand is simply a great book. Aaaand after almost a year, I’m finally done with this book! This book takes on the viewpoint of Cassandra, a truly interesting character. A very fascinating (and fictional) take on the world and characters, with different systems of worship, different Gods and Goddesses, different styles of rule with patriarchies and matriarchies. I am attempting to keep this review spoiler free, but anyone who has read the previous books might guess a few things. I gave this book five stars because I absolutely adore it and have read it 8329432423 times, but I'm not sure it's actually that good. I recently picked this book up and I am glad I did. I feel like him being "Capricious" was just a plot device. If I could trade places with you, I would. She could easily turn into the evil queen who hates Karigan, and you honestly couldn't blame her, but she doesn't. Irritatingly inaccurate, not that we know the truth of the story.
